*The State Council Premier Li Qiang met European Council Chairman Michel on June 22 whom pointed out to strengthen cooperation in green, economic, trade and digital fields to open up new space for the development of China-Eu relations. Li Qiang returned to Beijing on June 24, after ending the seventh round of Sino-German government negotiations and conducting an official visit to Germany, attending the New Global Financing Contract Summit and an official visit to France.

 

Industrial Economy

*Henan Province has issued opinions on the construction of tourist roads, and by 2025, four No. 1 tourist roads will be built.

*NDRC signed a letter of intent with AIRBUS to further deepen cooperation in the aviation field on June 22, both parties will jointly further promote the construction of Tianjin's new assembly line.

*Beijing: Immediately carry out investigation and rectification of hidden dangers in the gas field and publicly solicited opinions to revise the standards for safety evaluation of gas supply units,

*MIIT: The total amount of telecommunications business in the first five months increased by 17.2% y/y with the construction of network infrastructure has continued to advance, the number of users of 5G, gigabit optical networks and the Internet of Things has continued to expand, and the traffic of mobile Internet access has grown rapidly.

*The Legal Work Committee of the National People's Congress responded to the phenomenon of "AI face change": Continuously improving relevant legal systems.

*Shanghai Clearing House: The commodity spot settlement business will launch the digital RMB clearing service on June 26th. Digital RMB non-grid and power-free payment has been implemented for the first time in the national rail transit application scenarios.

*Ministry of Transport: During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, it is expected that more than 140 million passengers will be sent nationwide, down 22.8% compared with the same period of 2019 and up 89.1% y/y.

*China Film Administration: The box office of the 2023 Dragon Boat Festival season is 909 million yuan, which is the second highest in film history.

*MIIT: From January to May, China software business revenue was 4323.8 billion yuan, an increase of 13.3% y/y.
